The Seoul World Cup Stadium, also known as Sangam Stadium, is a major football venue located in Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Opened in 2001 for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, it is distinguished by a roof inspired by a traditional Korean kite and shield. With more than 66,000 seats, the stadium is the home ground of FC Seoul and regularly hosts matches involving the South Korean national team, as well as major sporting and cultural events.
