SWPL Play-Off

The SWPL Play-Off is the promotion and relegation play-off between the top two tiers of women’s football in Scotland. It determines whether a SWPL club keeps its place in the top division or whether a SWPL 2 club earns an additional promotion spot. The competition is played at the end of the season as a knockout play-off. The best-ranked SWPL 2 clubs first face each other, before the winner meets the team finishing 9th in the SWPL in a decisive final for a place in the top tier.
