The Russian Women’s Cup is Russia’s national women’s football cup competition. Organised by the Russian Football Union, it brings together clubs from several levels of the domestic football system in a knockout tournament. Teams enter the competition at different stages according to their level and previous league position, before progressing through the rounds for a place in the final and the opportunity to win the trophy. The exact format of the quarter-finals and semi-finals may vary between seasons, with ties played over either one or two matches.
