The OBOS Damallsvenskan is the top tier of women’s football in Sweden. It brings together the country’s leading women’s clubs in the national championship and is one of the historic major leagues in European women’s football. The competition is played in a single league table, with teams facing each other home and away across the season. The club finishing first is crowned Swedish champion, while the lowest positions lead either to direct relegation or to a promotion-relegation play-off with the Elitettan.
