The Copa do Brasil Feminina is Brazil’s leading national women’s football cup competition. Organised by the Brazilian Football Confederation, it brings together clubs from the different divisions of the domestic league system in a knockout tournament. Teams enter the competition at different stages according to their level and compete through the rounds for a place in the final and the opportunity to win the Brazilian Cup. The early stages are played as single matches, before two-legged ties are introduced from the quarter-finals onwards.
