The Brasileiro Feminino A1 is the top tier of women’s football in Brazil. Organised by the Brazilian Football Confederation, it brings together the country’s leading women’s clubs in the race for the national title. The competition begins with a single-table regular phase. The top eight teams then advance to a knockout stage featuring two-legged quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final. The bottom two teams from the regular phase are relegated to Série A2.
