The Brasileiro Feminino Série A2 is the second tier of women’s football in Brazil. Organised by the Brazilian Football Confederation, it brings together clubs from different regions of the country competing for the title and promotion to the top flight. The competition begins with a single-table regular phase. The highest-ranked teams then advance to a knockout stage featuring quarter-finals, semi-finals and a two-legged final. All four semi-finalists earn promotion to Série A1, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Série A3.
