The CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations is Africa’s leading international women’s football competition. Organised by the Confederation of African Football, it brings together the continent’s top women’s national teams in the race for the African title. The competition features a group stage followed by a knockout phase. The best-performing teams advance to the quarter-finals, then to the semi-finals and final. In addition to deciding the continental champion, the tournament also plays a major role in African qualification for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
